The short answer
You cannot undo a confirmed FPL transfer. Check the player, price, points cost and squad structure before selecting the final confirmation button.
Use the OneFPL Transfer Planner to test moves before making them in the official game.
What can and cannot be cancelled?
| Action | Can it be cancelled before the deadline? |
|---|---|
| Confirmed transfer | No |
| Wildcard after confirmation | No |
| Free Hit after confirmation | No |
| Bench Boost | Yes |
| Triple Captain | Yes |
| Captain, vice-captain or bench change | Yes, before the deadline |
Can a Wildcard remove a transfer hit?
A Wildcard makes all transfers in that Gameweek free, including transfers made before the chip was activated.
However:
- The Wildcard cannot be cancelled once played
- The transfers become permanent
- Only one chip can be used in that Gameweek
- The Wildcard cannot be played in Gameweek 1
Do not activate it only to correct one mistaken transfer unless the complete squad also benefits.
How is a Free Hit different?
A Free Hit gives unlimited transfers for one Gameweek. At the next deadline, the squad returns to its previous state.
Once confirmed, the Free Hit cannot be cancelled. It also cannot be used in Gameweek 1.
Avoiding transfer mistakes
Before confirming:
- Build the move in OneFPL Planner
- Check the player's injury status
- Check the next fixtures
- Confirm the points cost
- Review captain and bench effects
- Make the official transfer only when satisfied
